Call Statement: As a people of God placed by God in a local community, Summerfield United Methodist Church is called to,
"Go make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:18). Thus, we are called by God to, "Get up and stand on our feet, and be servants and witnesses of what we have seen and experienced through the Lord Jesus Christ," (taken from Acts 26:16).
Vision Statement: Through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we will be empowered to become more effective in making disciples of Jesus Christ. Thereby, using the gifts and talents Jesus gave us, "To prepare and equip God's consecrated people for works of service, so that the body of Christ, the church, may be built up until we all attain unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God and the fullness of Christ," (taken from Ephesians 4:12-13).
Our Mission Statement: Summerfield United Methodist Church strives to be a church of diverse, loving relationships that provides the "Light on the Hill," through prayerful heartfelt worship, Bible Study, ministries and mission, through our community and the world.
